This summer we are featuring:
“Life and Death in the Forest”
If you went to summer camp you may have played this game before; but, Angel & Heath put their own unique ideas & features into this classic game to make it an experience unlike any other. This is a fun way to interact with your group in a whole new way. Each person takes on the role of an animal of the forest, and it is their goal to “survive” until the end of the game. You might be a deer, and your friend/co-worker is a mountain lion; so, obviously in this game…you aren’t friends. To “survive,” you will have to avoid group members like the mountain lions & bears who might “eat” you while at the same time, you must find the specially marked locations with the “food & water” deer need. There are educational elements to this game, and can be a great way for youth to get an opportunity learn a little about the forest while having a great time. This is a perfect activity for family gatherings, business team-building, church functions, private parties, and more. We will customize the game based on the group size, ages of group members, etc. Call or email today to schedule a large group activity with MWACo.
Option #2: Council Grove State Park Scavenger Hunt/Nature Walk
The songbirds and wildflowers are starting to show up in April and Council Grove State Park is a wonderful location to see the spring wildlife. This walk is on flat ground and contained within a one to two mile radius. Council Grove State Park borders the Clark Fork River with wonderful sights of Missoula’s East Gate entrance. A team scavenger hunt provides opportunities for people to communicate and cooperate using their strengths in observation, leadership, and time management. This hunt will also orient people to the plants, wildlife and sights of Council Grove State Park.
Option #3: Canoeing/Games on Beavertail Pond
With the unpredictable nature of Montana rivers in the spring, pond canoeing is a great way to get out on the water in a safe way without getting wet (unless you want to). In a canoe all people must work together to navigate the waters. There are a number of short games and races we offer that will make for a highly entertaining afternoon. No canoeing experience is necessary, and it is more entertaining & fun if people don’t have much…or any experience. Some examples of games we use are: Canoe Tug-of-War, Blind Paddler’s Race, Find Your Bottle, and more!
